ODE Announcement for Adoption of Simple Assessment

The requirements of the Title IID program require all districts and the Oregon Department of Education to report on technological literacy of students by the end of eighth grade and the increased ability of teachers to integrate technology into curriculum and instruction. In order to meet this reporting requirement, all districts receiving Title IID funding will be required to administer the Oregon State Technology Assessment which is SimpleAssessment from InfoSource Learning. Access to this evaluation tool is through the ODE District website. Data from this evaluation will be used for meeting federal reporting requirements on Title IID funding, to inform revisions to the State Educational Technology Plan, and assist districts with Continuous Improvement Planning.
